Friendship Foundations (Thursdays 5:30 PM)
THURSDAYS 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
$80 for a four week session
March 20th- April 10th 2025
Grades K-5
Small Group Class of 8 students or less
Our Social Skills (Friendship Foundations) class, led by our student-favorite school counselor, is designed to help students develop essential interpersonal skills needed to navigate social situations with confidence and empathy. While it may seem far off, prioritizing how your child interacts with others now is key to ensuring they build strong social skills for the future. These skills will be crucial not only in school group projects but also in their eventual workplace collaboration. Through interactive activities, role-playing, and guided discussions, students will learn practical strategies for effective communication, building and maintaining healthy relationships, and resolving conflicts in positive ways. This supportive environment encourages students to practice empathy, active listening, and cooperation—helping them establish healthy interactions that will benefit them throughout life.
Instructor: Ellis has a PhD in Education and is very excited to teach this class.
