INTRO TO ALGEBRA 2

SUMMER COURSE

This course is for students entering Algebra 2 in the fall. This course includes 6 weeks of class time, instructional videos, individual lessons, workbook, grade tracking, and homework.

Our instructional is aligned with national standards, which are the same standards used at your child’s school district. We plan to cover quadratic and polynomial functions, complex numbers, exponential and logarithmic functions, and more topics if time allows. We will work on showing each step, identifying errors, and math word problems.

  • We offer small group class time with an instructor online and we offer pre-recorded lessons which allow students to pause and rewind if needed. This allows for a flexible and personalized learning schedule.

    Our classes are paired with individual lessons.

  • 1 hour per week of individual tutor sessions.

    Flexible scheduling with a tutor.

  • Approximately 1-3 hours per week of homework.

Meet the Instructor

Negin has always been passionate about math and science and has dedicated her academic and professional career to their exploration and advancement. She holds a Master's degree in Economics and two Bachelor's degrees in Statistics and Electrical Engineering.

Over the years, she has had the pleasure of teaching for three years and has guided numerous students through their academic pursuits. She firmly believes in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and collaborative discussions. Her teaching approach combines theoretical concepts with practical applications, aiming to equip students with the necessary skills to succeed in math both inside and outside the classroom.

Beyond academia, she is an avid travel enthusiast and find great joy in exploring the world. She believes that diverse experiences enrich our lives and learning, and she often draws upon her own personal experiences to bring real-world relevance to the topics she covers.
