Our Tutor Team: At the intersection of teaching and learning

Meet Reta and Abbas! They are exceptional tutors at Cascade Enrichment. They have both been working with us for several years while also continuing their own journey in education. 

Reta specializes in reading and writing help for elementary and middle school students. Reta has a passion for helping her students learn and grow, and she is dedicated to the teaching profession. Right now, in addition to tutoring students with Cascade Enrichment, she is also working at a middle school and loving every minute of it! Reta explained that watching her students “learn and grow in confidence is incredible”, and this love even inspired her to pursue a masters degree in teaching.

Abbas specializes in teaching STEM related subjects, such as physics, chemistry and computer science. He is also instrumental in running SAT prep courses and was able to quickly transition these courses to an online format during the pandemic. Abbas enjoys teaching and motivating students, and has helped many high school students who had low grades find success. Abbas plans to pursue his PhD in astronomy, in hopes of becoming a lecturer at a university, further extending his passion for teaching to the field of academia.
